Quick Overview:
This issue of ECS Transactions is a result of selected work, presented at a symposium during the Electrochemical Society Meeting in Seattle, WA, in May 2012. Symposia on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy have a long tradition at the ECS meetings. This one was specifically dedicated to Modeling and Interpretation. Not all papers presented at the meeting were submitted in manuscript form to ECS Transactions. Some of the papers were works in progress, not ready for publication; some of the contributions were instead submitted directly to a journal. In the twenty-minute slot, allocated to most of the presenters, only the most essential information is given. The contributions in this issue of ECST can thus elaborate on the concepts and provide also a vehicle for submitting some of the data tables and details of the results, a task not compatible with a short oral presentation or the square area allocated to a poster. Overall, four poster and fifteen oral presentations were given during the symposium.
